Extreme Weather in 2008
March 10th - Intense low pressure, high spring tides and
strong south westerly winds created a storm surge leading to flooding of the
land adjacent to the mill ponds, the quay and some farmland to the west of
Emsworth.

April
6th - 2 inches of snow fell from about 07:00 - 10:00 behind a cold front.
By 14:30 all the snow had melted and the sky was cloudless.
